Emma Willis shares hidden LeAnn Rymes ITV The Voice advantage ahead of show debut
Emma Willis has revealed her The Voice co-star has a huge advantage as a new judge despite making her show debut in the upcoming series.
The 48-year-old host of the ITV favourite has been fronting the show since 2014 and has seen different judges come and go on the show.
This year The Voice will see three new faces joining the panel as Olly Murs and Anne-Marie’s replacements.
This includes singer LeAnn Rimes, 42, and McFly members Tom Fletcher, 39 and Danny Jones, 38. Talking about the new judges, Willis explained how Rimes may have a slight advantage.
“LeAnn is amazing. It blows me away that she has been in the business for 30 years,” she commented.
“She started as a kid, so she has a wealth of knowledge and is brilliant as a coach. She also does The Voice Australia, so she knows exactly how it all works and excels in the chair.”
The presenter continued: “She is very competitively spirited, especially with Tom and Danny.
“They have a funny dynamic when they pitch against each other, so having her on board has been awesome!
“It’s hard for me to describe Tom and Danny because they are my mates, and I know exactly what they are like.
“They are full of fun and genuinely committed to coaching and encouraging everyone on their team Danny is used to being in the chair because he has done The Voice Kids, but for Tom, it was all new.
“Tom was nervous, which was really weird to see because he wears so many different hats and is brilliant at everything he does. You’d think he would just slide straight into it.”
Sir Tom Jones, 84, will also be making a comeback as a judge. The She’s A Lady hit-maker also made a recent admission about a co-star.
Talking about will.i.am, he remarked: “I think Will can be competitive. He is sneaky and sometimes he tries to hide if he is going to hit the button.”
The 49-year-old rapper has starred in The Voice UK since 2012 and has also coached on the UK’s edition of The Voice Kids from 2017 to 2023.

Earlier this year, Jones detailed how he has no plans to retire from his decades-long singing career. Admitting he “can’t believe” he can still sing, he made clear he wouldn’t be retiring anytime soon.
Speaking in April, he told The Mirror: “Well, thank God my voice is still working. I am 83 years old.”
The iconic musician continued: “I mean, I can’t believe it, but it is true. When I am singing I am like, ‘How the hell is this coming out of me?’
“Honestly. If the voice was not there I am sure I would be going, ‘Urgh, I don’t want to do so many shows’, but I love it as the voice is still working!”
