Tulisa deletes all trace of ITV I’m A Celebrity from social media in cryptic move after exit
Tulisa Contostavlos has dramatically distanced herself from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! by deleting all traces of the show from her Instagram just hours after her exit.
The N-Dubz star, 36, who was the third celebrity to leave the jungle on Monday night, has removed all posts related to her time on the ITV programme.
Eagle-eyed fans have also noticed that Contostavlos has notably unfollowed fellow campmate Barry McGuigan, making him the only contestant she doesn’t follow on social media.
According to The Sun, while Contostavlos initially appeared upbeat after leaving the show, something appears to have triggered a dramatic shift in her mood.
“Tulisa was in high spirits when she left the set, but something appears to have happened that’s left her raging,” a source told the publication.
The same source added: “She wasn’t in a great mood for her post-show interviews and appears to be already distancing herself from the programme. It’s all a bit of a mystery at the moment.”
Speaking on Lorraine this morning, Contostavlos made cryptic remarks about the authenticity of relationships formed in the jungle.
“I feel like I have [made friends] with some of them. I think they will be friends for life,” she said.
However, she added pointedly: “But a lot of people for the cameras were being very pally pally but the real test will be when everyone is out. Will they make the effort to send texts in the group chat? Will they do the four hour drives to see each other? We’ll see…”
Despite her apparent frustration with the show, Contostavlos embraced her return to luxury at the contestants’ hotel, documented in a series of social media posts.
The singer was filmed by her musician friend Michelle McKenna enjoying her first hot shower after weeks of cold camp bathing.
She later appeared glammed up in makeup and a mini dress, liberally applying perfume.
The former X Factor judge was also captured indulging in a feast of pizza, pasta, fish and curry, accompanied by two glasses of wine.
Speaking about her favourite campmates, Contostavlos expressed strong support for Oti Mabuse to win the show.
“Oti is just the most beautiful human. Really hard to come across someone so genuine, so pure, I loved her,” she told Lorraine.
The singer named Mabuse, Alan Halsall, Melvin Odoom, and Maura Higgins as her “soul family” in the jungle.
