Danny Jones leaves ITV I’m A Celebrity campmates confused as he causes chaos in camp: ‘This is terrible’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Danny Jones left his campmates confused as he was given a secret mission which came with a sweet reward.
After the camp was whittled down to four celebrities after GK Barry and Alan Halsall’s departure, the campmates are slowly being given more rewards for their time.
Tonight, McFly singer Jones was given a secret mission to hide four toy rangers throughout camp without being caught by his fellow celebrities.
Entering the Bush Telegraph, a laminate read: “Remember, whatever happens in camp is between you and the ranger!”
He departed the Bush Telegraph with a mischievous look on his face and set out to find a perfect hiding spot but was almost rumbled by Reverend Richard Cole.
Thinking fast on his feet, he told Cole that he thought he had seen a spider, before moving on and managing to hide the ranger under some leaves by a rock.
Returning to the Bush Telegraph, the next ranger was a bigger action man size that he would have to hide next.
Not wanting to lose, he managed to hide it in some of the jungle undergrowth, before being greeted with an even bigger ranger waiting for him – this time the side of a large baby doll.
Unable to contain his laughter and with a cheeky grin on his face, he set off once more to find the perfect hiding place, eventually settling for a jungle bush in the middle of camp.
The last was a life-sized ranger doll, leaving him to exclaim: “This is impossible! This is a terrible start!”
Knowing exactly what he needed to do, he entered the camp and distracted Cole, Rooney and Mabuse by getting them away from their home.
He asked: “Do you guys wanna see a koala? I’ve spotted one up a tree down there! Right at the bottom”
Getting them to follow him, Rooney suspiciously asked: “I thought koalas were endangered?” before Mabuse revealed: “I was just here!”
Desperate for the plan to work, Jones urged them: “Why don’t you look for it, I need to have a wee, bottom of the creek somewhere!”
He left the confused celebrities looking for the non-existent koala whilst he sprinted back to camp and hid the life-sized ranger in the Leaders Lodge.
Covering it with a sleeping bag, he headed back to see the celebrities as Mabuse told him there was no koala, and Rooney asked: “What are you up to?”

Laughing at his success, he revealed to his campmates he had been on a secret mission to successfully hide four rangers in camp.
Cole, Rooney and Mabuse were then told they would have four minutes to find all four rangers to win ice creams for camp.
Mabuse climbed up to the Leader’s Lodge and screamed as she found the life-sized mannequin first.
Next was Rooney was guided with “warmer” and “colder” clues to help her identify the action-man-sized ranger.
Mabuse then searched Jones’s bed with the third biggest before Rooney found the tiniest ranger hidden beneath the leaves.
With all four rangers found and positioned on the Leaders red chair in camp, Jones decided to name them Barry, Dougie, Bruce and Cooper.
The four campmates then tucked into a well-deserved ice cream, as Jones remarked: “That is heaven!”
