BBC Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri ‘splits’ from Love Island boyfriend Andrew Le Page ahead of tour
Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have reportedly ended their relationship after meeting on the hit ITV show in 2022.
The couple, who had been together since appearing on the reality programme’s eighth series, are thought to have quietly parted ways earlier this month.
Ghouri, 26, and Le Page, 29, were among the show’s most popular couples, with Ghouri making history as the first deaf contestant to appear on Love Island.
The split comes as Ghouri prepares to embark on the Strictly Come Dancing nationwide tour, where she will be performing with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec.
Sources close to the couple revealed the separation occurred in early January, with Ghouri reportedly joining celebrity dating app Raya shortly after.
A source close to the couple told The Sun that their relationship began showing strain during Ghouri’s time on Strictly Come Dancing.
“Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly,” the source revealed.
The insider explained that Ghouri’s dedication to the competition affected their relationship: “She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.”
The upcoming tour is set to create further distance between the pair.
“Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again,” the source added.
“They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.”
The split comes as a stark contrast to Ghouri’s confident statements about their relationship just months ago.
Speaking to The Sun in September, she had dismissed concerns about the notorious “Strictly curse”.
“Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet,” she declared at the time.
She had expressed complete faith in their relationship: “Me and Andrew trust each other 100 per cent. It’s not a make-or-break for us.”
Ghouri had even spoken about their future together: “We’re going to breeze through this because we’re going to marry each other one day, you know?”
The couple appeared to start 2025 on a positive note, with Ghouri posting love hearts on Le Page’s New Year Instagram post captioned “2025 lets get it.”
The couple’s relationship had previously appeared strong, with significant milestones following their Love Island appearance.
